CREATING GREAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE WITH BRANDING AND WEBSITE DESIGN

Wondering how to create a great client experience when working with your design clients? You know you need to create an environment that will encourage your clients to share the details of their project, so you can create a design that’s visually appealing to both your client and their ideal clients.

How can you create an environment that will get you the results you need, so you can deliver a finished project that meets and ultimately exceeds your clients expectations?

Although there’s no one clear answer to creating a good client experience, I will be sharing the strategies I use to create a good client experience and successful design outcome with my clients. Continue reading to learn the 4 strategies I use to create a good client experience with my design clients.

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS

Before starting the branding and website design process, I believe it’s important to build a relationship with your clients. By asking clients how their day is going and listening to their response, before proceeding with the goals of their design project, shows clients that we care, by getting to know them. Instead of just moving forward and designing their project.

SYSTEMIZE YOUR PROCESS

Systemizing your process helps to keep the design process on track, while making things less confusing for your clients. You can accomplish this by having a good onboarding process that you use, so all clients can easily book their design appointment, pay their deposit, and receive all forms and any other vital information they need to move forward in the onboarding process! This can include a welcome email or a welcome kit, with instructions about what they can expect throughout the design process and how they can contact you if they have any questions.

Once the onboarding process is completed, you should think through all the potential steps to make the actual design process go much smoother. This can include any pre-work you want them to complete ahead of time, to create a smooth design process, so you can meet their goals and ultimately exceed your clients expectations.

DESIGN PROCESS

Once the branding colors, elements and website goals are determined for the design project, you can start the design process. During the design process, you will include all content and visual elements that will help you complete a finished design that’s visually appealing to your clients, while making the style and brand of your clients design stand out!

EXCEED CLIENT EXPECTATIONS

Another aspect to creating a great experience with a design client, is to not only meet our clients expectations, but to exceed them as well. You may be wondering, how can you exceed your clients expectations.

One way you can exceed your clients expectations is to truly understand your clients’ pain points. By truly understanding your clients pain points, and asking for feedback from your clients, your clients will not only feel validated, but you will be able to create a design that will delight them!

This is how I’ve been able to create a signature branded style website and a suite of branded materials for the Bella Bridal project and other design projects.

A family owned and operated bridal solon since 2004Bella Wedding Bridal, is located in Los Angeles, California. Well-known for their outstanding customer service, their goal is to make every bride’s experience as wonderful as possible.k

As a full service and operated bridal salon, Bella Wedding Bridal offers a full range of wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and accessories for members of the bridal party.

As Bella Wedding Bridal grew over the years, the bridal store owner Bella Yang, knew she needed a new brand and a new website that could showcase her business for years to come.

From a signature branded style website and a color palette of pale green, gold, pink and peach, we were able to create a design and a suite of branded materials that would speak to her ideal client, while elevating her bridal salon to new heights.

We started by creating a feminine logo and selecting suite of feminine colors that could translate beautifully from the website to print.

From there, we created a suite of custom business cards and custom stationery featuring a color palette of pink, peach, and gold to be provided to guests that visit her bridal salon.
